The LANCOM LN-1700B offers a WLAN radio module according to IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 and one according to IEEE 802.11n. This means that both 11n clients in the 2.4 GHz frequency band and the increasing number of modern 11ac-capable terminals in the 5 GHz band can be supplied with fast WLAN.
Integrated beaconing technology
The Bluetooth low-energy radio module integrated in the LANCOM LN-1700B is the technical basis for future location-based services (LBS) such as asset management or push marketing activities on mobile terminals (iBeacon).
4x4 Multi-User MIMO
Multi-User MIMO (MU-MIMO for short) allows all available spatial streams of the LANCOM LN-1700B to be distributed to several different Wave 2 clients at the same time instead of operating them one after the other as before.
