The Lenovo Flex System Enterprise Chassis now supports two new blades with second-generation Intel® Xeon® Processor Scalable product family CPUs: four-processor Lenovo ThinkSystem SN850 and two-processor Lenovo ThinkSystem SN550.
The chassis is designed for high-speed networking and multiple generations of Intel Xeon processors.
SN850 offers significantly increased memory capacity and fire width, more processor cores, faster and larger memory capacity, and improved RAS and security features.** As a result, SN850's four CPU, 48 DIMM slot design is powerful enough to support even your most demanding, memory-intensive workloads.
