Deep SSD Caching
The SSD cache is a large secondary cache that increases data access speed by positioning SSD drives between the primary DRAM memory cache and hard disks.

The data deduplication function of the XN8008T is an inline block-level function that checks the block similarity of data on entry into the system. If duplicated blocks are found, they are not written to disk and thus save space.
During compression, data is compressed into fewer bytes during transmission to ensure faster transmission speed and save storage space.

Quota control for accounts and shared folders

Windows AD and LDAP directory services
With support for Windows AD and LDAP, the XN8008T enables seamless account integration. Up to 200,000 domain accounts can be connected to the XN8008T and their home folder is created automatically. Windows ACLs and Advanced ACLs
Access Control List (ACL) is a privilege set that specifies which actions specific accounts perform on folders and files. Real-time Remote Replication
Data copies can be distributed to your trusted locations in real time via remote backup. By regularly copying data to different branches, your data can be recovered in the unfortunate event of a disaster. Ensures data availability and gives organizations more options for a disaster recovery plan.
Snapshot and Replica
Snapshots record the status of shared folders and iSCSI LUNs when changes are made during writing. Regular snapshots allow administrators to better control data versions and perform point-in-time recovery for folders and LUNs. These can be flexibly restored to previously known good conditions. Replica can transfer version information to the target XCubeNAS, allowing administrators to use space based on their retention policies and space requirements.
XMirror regularly synchronizes a volume or the contents of a folder between multiple XCubeNAS devices and all document changes are replicated to other XCubeNAS. XMirror ensures data consistency and availability on various XCubeNAS systems.

Write once, read several times (WORM)
The WORM technology prevents the intentional or random modification of data within a certain period of time. Files and folders under WORM protection can only be read within a user-defined period. It is not possible to change files or folders until the time period has expired. WORM can protect your data from encrypted ransomware that is hidden on a victim's system and encrypts their files so that they are inaccessible. WORM protects your confidential data from unauthorized changes and threats and ensures the accuracy and integrity of your data.
Self-encrypting drive (SED)
the XN8008T-Series can be much more secure than you can imagine with SED (Self-Encrypting Drive) drive encryption technology. Even if the physical drive is stolen or misplaced, the technology protects the data on the disk from data corruption by generating the authentication key (AK) to prevent unauthorized access. However, the SED offered by QSAN offers the migration of secured pools between different XCubeNASs and the simple administration of the key by exporting the AK for more efficiency.
Pool encryption with AES-256
The XN8008T pool encryption mechanism ensures a secure storage environment for any user who wants to change data must first pass authentication. The XN8008T supports up to 256-bit AES encryption for internal drives and external USB / eSATA drives and uses FIPS 140-2-validated encryption at military level, which is considered the highest security certification for compliance.
On-board antivirus regularly scans files and automatically quarantines suspicious files to protect the system from potential threats.
Access your data anywhere
XN8008T offers free DDNS services so you can choose your own domain name and connect from anywhere. This is very useful if your broadband has a floating IP address that changes frequently. You can also use your DDNS domain name to access your XN8008T via the Xccess Mobile App for Android and iOS. If your NAS is behind a NAT router, you can enable UPnP port forwarding for easy access to your NAS.
